Inbiotec, as Associate Member of the European Bio-based Industries Consortium (BIC), attended its extraordinary General Assembly last 4 February in Brussels. In this event, the 4 technical approaches proposed by Inbiotec to different industrial challenges, were selected by the Programming Core Group to be put forward during the meeting that brought together more than 200 companies and RTO members. Genetic engineering of molds and bacteria, as well as strategies for optimization of industrial processes, where the basis of the response suggested by Inbiotec to tackle a diversity of challenges in biorefinery processes.
